Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nithyananda Nayak stressed the need for people to join in the noble venture of donating their eyes as they continue to live through others. He assured the donors that the donation of eyes never result in any form of deformity to the face. A culture of helping others through such acts of love has to be developed and the students must create awareness at homes, so that more will come forward to pledge their eyes, he said.
