The Government High School in Kuvempunagar, JSS Hospital, Southern Star Hotel, Mysuru Bank Colony Association, Srirampura and Devaraja Market Merchants' Association, have been selected for 'Swachh Mysuru' awards, instituted by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC).
Mayor M J Ravikumar announced the list here on Monday. The competition was organised under five categories – Swachh School, Swachh Hospital, Swachh Hotel, Swachh Residents' Welfare Association and Swachh Merchants' Association, respectively. Similarly, a few other organisations, including an educational institution, hotels, association, and hospitals have been selected for consolation prizes.
MCC Commissioner G Jagadeesha, Health Officer Dr Nagaraj, Corporators K V Mallesh, Mahadevappa, Ayub Khan, Nandeesh Preetam and others were present.
