Three from Bangalore die in road mishap

The injured were admitted to Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore.

Deceased, all residents of HAL Road in Bangalore, have been identified as Nanjundappa (54), Guruswamy (73) and Madaiah (30). They were on their way to Sabarimala. The bus driver reportedly lost control of the bus while approaching a deep curve in Kotooru and rammed into a rock and turned turtle. However, the rescue operations were hindered by darkness. The team had left for Sabarimala from HAL Hospital on Airport Road on Sunday. “ In total we were 56 persons in the bus. After taking a dip in Netravathi river, we visited Dharmasthala and later paid visit to Subrahmanya. All of us were in deep sleep when the accident occurred,” said an injured.

The condition of diver Narasimhamurthy, Alagiri, Muniswamy, Manikanta, Annamalai, Deena and Mastana are said to be serious.
