The incident took place when the LPG cylinder-borne lorry heading towards Sagar collided with another ten-wheeler-truck ferrying tar coming from Sagar.
Three persons died and the other injured in a head-on collision between two trucks at Aaiginabilu near Anandpur in Sagar taluk in the early hours of Saturday.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Sachin, (25), a native of Kushalangara, truck driver, Malakappa (22), cleaner a native of Vijayappura and Lokesh (42), driver of lorry ferrying Gas cylinder.
