Police said all the dead were travelling in MUV. Saroja (28) and Fatima (50) died on the spot while a grievously injured Gangavva Budihaal (35) died on the way to district hospital.
The injured travelling in MUV have been identified as residents of Herenasabi in Badami taluk in Bagalkot district. They are Girijamma Meti (25), Vijayalakshmi Walikaar (30), Netra Rangannavar (14), Timmavva Rangannavar (30), Shantavva Rangannavar (30), Manjula Vaddar (30), Mallavva S Vaddar (30), Mundiyavva Neelannavar (28), Paravva Bellara (21), Bheemavva Neelannavar (10), Mahadevi Kalluli (35), Sharvanavva Rangannavar (24) and MUV driver Basavaraj Timmannagoudar (32). They have been shifted to district hospital in Gadag.
The injured travelling in the car have also been shifted to district hospital and have been identified as residents of Gadag city, police said.
