Three tamed elephants at Dubare elephant camp have left for Chhattisgarh on Monday.

Elephants Ajaya (27), Theertharama (25) and Parashurama (18) are on the way to Chattisgarh.

Chattisgarh CCF, the wildlife division veterinary doctor, IFS officers and the RFO had visited the Dubare camp a few days ago. Along with the elephants, the Mathigodu camp kavadis G A Santhosh, Harish and Nanjundaswamy have also left for Chhattisgarh.

Elephant camp RFO Kiran Mar said that the elephants are being shifted as per the agreement between the two states.
