Efforts will be made to give time-bound promotions for teachers of aided schools during inter-district transfers, said Primary Education Minister Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Education Convention organised at Shikshakara Sadana by the Bangalore South district unit of the State Aided Primary School Teachers Association on Saturday.
Government school teachers are given time-bound promotion during the inter-district transfers. Similarly, steps will be taken to give special promotion to teachers of aided schools during the transfers, he added.
