Jarkiholi said dissatisfied Congress MLAs, including former minister M B Patil, have organised a meeting on June 11 to discuss the next course of action and their stand would be communicated to the high command.

Speaking to reporters at the Sambra airport here on Friday, Jarkiholi said that he has been hurt for not being made a minister in the coalition government. “I have the ability to get ministerial berths for others, but me not being inducted in the Cabinet has hurt me personnally,” the MLA from Yamakanamaradi said.

The AICC secretray said, “My own partymen, including state and national leaders, have conspired against me and denied me a berth in the Cabinet. Many were in the race for the chief minister’s post including myself. Hence, to keep me out of the race they have ensured that I do not get a place in the Cabinet.”

Names of those who conspired against me will be known in a week’s time and they would be made public, he stated.
