MLA P M Narendraswamy said that comprehensive development would be possible if the governments at both the State and the Centre were the same.

Speaking at the Youth Congress convention at Kalikamba Samudaya Bhavan in city on Thursday, he promised priority for drinking water, especially to the tail end villages of the district which are worst hit.

He also said that the differences of opinion among the party workers had been sorted out amicable, and appealed to the party workers to work for the victory of the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramya said that the party workers had supported her despite the opposition raising questions about her lineage.

Senior leaders Ambarish and S M Krishna are like two eyes of the party in the district, and their names should be used for constructive purpose, said youth Congress president M S Chidambar.

District unit president M S Atamananda, Women’s unit president Lalitha Bhaskar and others were present.
