Staging a demonstration waving empty pots, Vatal said that even though he respects the Chief Minister, he is puzzled as to why the CM is hesitating to visit Chamarajanagar City.  When he can visit Santhemarahalli, Gundlupet and Kothalawadi in the district, why not the district headquarters, he added.

Instead of taking up  development programme at the village, taluk and zilla panchayat level, the CM is superstitious and not concerned about the ongoing works.

Public toilets should be constructed in rural areas as this is one of the major problems in this region. A protest would be held near the CM’s residence in Bangalore if the demands are not met.

Haradanahalli Zilla Panchayat candidate H R Chayarani, Taluk Panchayat candidate Mahadevanayak, Car Nagesh, Haradanahalli’s Suresh Nag, Basavaraj, Hundibasavanna and others were present.
