Through this rally, CITU will try to highlight various problems faced by the workers. CITU has urged the Central and State Governments to fix the minimum wage of a worker at Rs 6,000 in the State and Rs 10,000 for a worker in Bangalore as per the 2008 price index. Besides, it will also demand ration cards to all the workers and provide rice at Rs 2 through Fair Price Shops.
