If one crosses Bhadra river near Kagganalla, then Bilagur and Holalu village is just one-and-half kilometres away. However, during the rainy season one has to travel for five kilometres via Balehole to reach Bilagur and Holalu. In this background, there is a need to construct a bridge near Kagganalla across Bhadra river. There are more than 500 families residing in Bilagooru, Holalu villages and Hemmakki. However, neither the district administration nor elected representatives have shown any interest in the construction of a bridge to help the villagers, they rued.

The villagers cross the river by constructing a temporary bridge across the river during summer. However, during monsoon, the villagers use coracle to cross the river.
