A section of voters from Gokak, Athani, Bellary and Chincholi constituencies petitioned Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar on the whereabouts of their legislators, according to sources.
MLAs Ramesh Jarkiholi (Gokak), Mahesh Kumatahalli (Athani), B Nagendra (Bellary) and Umesh Jadhav (Chincholi) have been incommunicado for several weeks now. Sources confirmed that a petition by voters was given to the Speaker seeking to protect their interests as their MLAs were not accessible.
