The event conducted in association with National Adventure Foundation witnessed the participation of 62 children at Hotel Lalithamahal Palace helipad in the city on Sunday.
As the harness and helmet was attached to the children, a plethora of expressions were visible on the faces of the youngsters.

While a few were apprehensive, others eagerly awaited their turn.  The harness is connected to a four-wheeler and as the vehicle starts moving the children are lifted towards the skies.

An overjoyed Class Six student Abhishek said, “I felt really happy floating in the air. The view of Mysore city was beautiful.” Thrilled at the adventure, Abhishek said bravely, “I didn’t feel afraid at all.”

Class Three student Sanjana said, “I was little afraid while getting off the track and then when we were coming down.” However, she said that it was lovely feeling to fly like a bird.
Enjoying every moment of the experience, Class Five student Tanmayi said that she was having a wonderful time with her friends.

Regional Transport Officer Siddappa Kallera inaugurated the programme.  Kautilya Vidyalaya president R Raghu, Principal L Savitha were present on the occasion.
