A wild bison, which had taken refuge in one of the plantations at S K Megal village, after being injured, finally succumbed to its injuries on Friday afternoon after a two week long fight for life.
On February 10, a wild bison was spotted in the plantation of Yuvaraj in the village.
It had injuries on its body and since both of its hind legs were broken it could not stand on its feet.
After some medication, the animal had started recovering but unfortunately it had another fall, which injured its front legs.
After continued efforts from local residents to treat the animal, it succumbed to injuries in Friday.
