Wild elephant tramples man

The deceased has been identified as C Raju (65). He was working in B K C Estate for the last 25 years.

The elephant attacked him when he was cleaning. It caught hold him and threw him in the air.

Thithimathi ACF Alexander, RFO Gopalakrishna visited the spot and paid a sum of Rs 5,000 to cremate the body. Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah said that compensation of Rs 3.5 lakh will be paid to the deceased.
