Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Department of IT, BT, Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, conducted a one-day regional workshop for college teachers on frontier areas in biological sciences.
The workshop was jointly organised by VGST, Bengaluru and Mangalore University at Mangalore University campus. The aim of the workshop was to bring college teachers abreast with recent developments in the fast-moving field of biological sciences and to motivate and enable them to engage in research activities. Over 85 Biological Science teachers from 20 colleges in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts participated in the workshop.
