The Mysuru royal family has clarified that no date has been fixed yet for the marriage of Yaduveer, the scion of the royal family.

The clarification comes in the wake of reports in the local media that Pramoda Devi Wadiyar has fixed the date of her adopted son Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar’s marriage in May.

When contacted, Palace secretary Lakshminarayan said that Pramoda Devi would convene a press meet and announce the dates when they are fixed. Yaduveer, 24, was engaged to Trishika Kumari Singh, daughter of Harshavardhan Singh of Dungarpur in Rajasthan, before he was adopted by his grand-aunt Pramoda Devi on February 23 last year.
