Public Works Department Minister H D Revanna on Thursday advised BJP leaders to exert pressure on the Union Government to get funds for the drought relief works instead of performing 'yagna'.
"Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are living in a state of illusion and dreaming of coming to power. The ‘yagna’ being performed by BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa to capture the power will not fructify," he told reporters here adding that Opposition's drought situation inspection was an eyewash.
He said that the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government in the state is stable due to the blessings of the farmers and will complete its five-year tenure.
Kumaraswamy government's second budget will be in favour of the people, he said.
