Yeddyurappa in his complaint filed yesterday before Speaker K G Bopaiah has stated that Manappa Vajjal, BJP MLA from Lingasugur, attracted the provisions of anti-defection law for defying the party whip.
The Speaker's office refused to share details of the issues made out in the complaint by Yeddyurappa against Vajjal while seeking his disqualification.
Acting on a complaint from Yeddyurappa, Bopaiah had disqualified 11 BJP rebel MLAs and five independents under the anti-defection law on October 10.
The Speaker had held a two-day hearing and passed his order on the night of October 10, on the eve of Yeddyurappa government facing the floor test.
