Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to participate in the third leg of the BJP's Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivartan Yatra in Bengaluru on January 7.

This will be his second visit to the poll-bound Karnataka in under a month. Adityanath addressed a huge rally at Hubballi on December 21, where he launched a scathing attack on the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government over "corruption" and "underperformance".

The third leg of the Parivartan Yatra will be held in the Govindarajanagar Assembly constituency. The first one was held in JP Nagar followed by another at Murugeshpalya, off Old Airport road.

The yatra is coming back to the city to make up for a lacklustre inaugural at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) on November 2, which was marred by a late start and scores of empty chairs.

BJP state president and chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa has been aggressively touring the state as part of the Yatra. In 63 days, Yeddyurappa has covered 151 Assembly constituencies spread across 20 districts.
