ZP to release 4.5 lakh to Ashrama school

The Zilla Panchayat President along with Standing Committee on Social Justice President S N Rajarao visited the school and interacted with the teachers.  They also inspected the classrooms, maidan, kitchen, toilets in the school.

Vijaya said “officials should implement all the programmes meant for the development of the tribals. The students must be provided with nutritious food along with maintaining cleanliness in the school premises.”

The teachers appealed the President to hike the honorarium being paid to them. Reacting to it, he said “the ZP had already submitted a proposal to the government to hike the honourarium being paid to the teachers from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000.”  ITDP Officer Ganeshappa, Social Welfare department in charge Balakrishna Rai and others were present.
