Legendary cricket player Madhav Apte passed away in Mumbai on Monday. He was 86.
He played 7 Tests for India averaging 49.27. Apte led Mumbai to Ranji titles in 1958-59, 1961-62.
He is only known cricketer to have played alongside DB Deodhar and Sachin Tendulkar. He had also served as president of CCI.
