In an effort to boost vaccination, a drive-through Covid-19 vaccination camp started at a private hospital -MGM Healthcare in Chennai - on June 11. The facility is open for people above 45 years of age. The idea behind the camp is to offer convenience to those citizens to get vaccinated without the hassle of stepping into the hospital for vaccination. Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian flagged-off the initiative. Citizens are allowed to book their vaccination appointments in advance and there is a facility for on-spot registration too.
