Culture Minister Kumari Selja told Lok Sabha today that a spectacles, which was handed over by Nirmala Behn Gandhi, daughter-in-law of Mahatma Gandhi in 1985 to keep it in Ashram, has gone missing.
"The state government has initiated investigations through CID and the investigation is still continuing," she said in a written reply.
She also said necessary security arrangements to safeguard memorabilia belonging to Gandhi have been made by the Ashram.
