Officials would be sending the invite to Bhattacherjee as per the existing protocol and it is a matter of intense speculation as to whether the defeated CM would make his presence or not. The outgoing health minister, Surya Kanta Mishra, who resisted the Mamata tornado and won by a handsome margin from Narayangarh, might represent the CPM at the ceremony.
