Mirza Himayat Baig (29) and his aide Shaikh Lalbaba Mohammed Hussain alias Bilal (27) were arrested by the ATS on September 7 from Pune and Nashik respectively for their involvement in the German Bakery blast in Pune.
Both the LeT operatives had done a recce of vital places in Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), where a number of delegates and players will be staying during the Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, a Nashik court has extended the police custody of Bilal till Sept 20.
