Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu made a power point presentation at Aero India on Thursday seeking investment from Bengalureans.

He signaled that Andhra Pradesh will be competing with Karnataka to develop the
new capital, coming up close to Vijayavada.

Naidu who has been credited with forming Cyberabad and Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad is going all out to woo investorsfrom Bengaluru. Naidu announced that the Bengaluru-Chennai corridor will pass through Krishnapatnamin Andhra Pradesh.

“I am involving Bengaluru in the development of Krishnapatnam. I amaware that the Bengaluru-Chennai industrial corridor will pass through Krishnapatnam. I will by developing Krishnapatnam to help Bengaluru develop.

“The distance from Bengaluru to Kirshnapatnam is only 60 km. I call upon everybody to take this opportunity,” Naidu said.

Naidu said the new capital has already got support from Singapore and Japan. They will draw up plans about how the capital should come up.

He said the two countries are working on a masterplan for the newcapital. This gives opportunity to investors in Bengaluru to also share their expertise with Andhra Pradesh to develop its new capital.

He said the state governmentowns four lakh acres of land and he was ready to give
land to prospective investors. Naidu also said there has to be a link between Bengaluru-Hyderabad and Cyberabad.

The chief minister is working on plans to integrate Bengaluru with the development
of various towns close to the IT capital.
