“All of us agreed to the NCTC,” he said after being sworn in as the governor. “The matter of discussion about which people had a fair amount of misconception centred around what should be the exact role of the NCTC. It would be a combined wisdom of everybody,” he said. Narayanan exuded confidence that he would be able to help the state administration solve problems of Maoist violence and political clashes. “I will talk to the chief minister. With my experience, I am sure I’ll be able to help.”
