Currently, the channel is available in Bengali, Telugu, Hindi and English in India, FOX International Channels Senior Vice-president Marketing Debarpita Banerjee told reporters here today.
"We have been in India for 10 years now... We are happy to bring this channel to this iconic state," she said. The Channel has signed Actress Sriya Saran for promotion of the channel.
"NGC is one channel, which I have grown up watching. I am glad to be part of it," Saran said.
The NGC currently reaches 370 million homes in 168 countries and 37 languages. The NGC is a joint venture by National Geographic Television and Fox Cable Networks Group.
