“No information was received from Pakistan related to the Headley-Rana case. Pakistan has not shared any information with us so far,” Chidambaram told newspersons here while giving monthly report of his ministry.  The two terror suspects with Pakistani origin were arrested by the American agency Federal Investigation Bureau in Chicago in October. The alleged terrorists reportedly had designs on India.

He said a team of FBI would be coming to India most probably next week to share information about the investigation on the reported terror plans of Headley and Rana.
Answering a query, the minister said he was satisfied with the probe by the National Investigation Agency on the two terrorists.

Chidambaram, who completed one year in his office, said the government has decided to link all its offices dealing with travel documents relating to foreigners to share information on real-time basis.

He said the foreigners division in the Home Ministry, foreigners regional registration office and all missions of the External Affairs Ministry abroad would be interlinked.
