Not inoculating people 18 years and above: Punjab Health Minister over vaccine shortage

Punjab Health Minister BS Sidhu informed that the state government is not inoculating citizens above 18 years of age as they don’t have vaccines in adequate quantity. He also informed that the positivity rate and number of deaths are on uphill in the state. “The positivity rate and number of deaths are increasing in the state. People from Delhi, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are getting admitted in Punjab. Now, the infection has started to spread to the rural areas. Except for the frontline workers, people over 18 years of age are not being vaccinated as we don't have enough vaccines,” said Punjab Health Minister.
