Anzi Alibava, who was killed in a terror strike in New Zealand, was laid to rest at her home town of Kodungalloor in Thrissur district in central Kerala on Monday.

Anzi's body was brought back from New Zealand by early Monday morning. It was received by Kerala government representatives and her relatives at the Nedumbaserry airport in Kochi.

It was taken to her house at Kodungalloor, where it was kept for the public to pay homage. The body was laid to rest at the Cheraman Jama Mosque by 11 am.
