"We have issued new guidelines today...the state governments and central government will have to get their websites audited and upgrade their firewalls," Minister of state for IT Sachin Pilot told reporters outside Parliament House.He said it would be better not to host a "vulnerable" website if it is not audited by experts.
On the cyber attack on CBI website, he said in a "day or two", the logs will explain from where exactly the attack took place. "A self-regulatory mechanism is in place. Now it will be enforced strongly," he said.
