K C Venugopal, "Sir, I wish to invite the attention of this august House on a meeting that had happened 100 years ago. Mahatma Gandhi and Sri Narayana Gurudev met in 1925, March 12. That meeting created a great impact in entire South Indian society. Sir, Gandhi travelled to Sivagriri during the Vaikom Satyagraha that struggled against caste discrimination. He met Sri Narayana Gurudev who was spreading the message of, "one caste, one religion, and one god for all human beings".
"This meeting was yet powerful. Two great man sat together to speak regarding the biggest questions of the time--Untouchability, equality, education, dignity and non-violence." The conversation became a turning point in fight for social justice.
"Then Gandhiji asked whether the scriptures justified untouchability, the Guru said, "No." When Gandhi some of different caste, Guru replied, "Leaves must be different, size but they all taste the same.
"This meeting was not just a moment in history, it was India's moral compass. It told us that Freedom means nothing without equality and the social reform is important. My request to the government is to honour this historical centenary by issuing a prestigious stamp and a commemorative coin to mark the Gandhi- Narayana Gurudev meeting"

While replying to a question regarding PMFME scheme (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises), Chirag Paswan said," Bihar has been benefitted the most from this scheme. In this scheme, small entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to set up their business. Efforts are underway to boost entrepreneurs' business in national and international markets.
