A Central Public Work Department (CPWD) contractor was shot by two bike-borne assailants after he tried to save a woman from getting her chain snatched in Punaichak area of Patna on July 31. The injured contractor was rushed to PMCH for treatment. Police has registered the case and further investigation is under way.
