Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a series of development projects in Kochi on Sunday and will also hold discussions with BJP leaders in the state on the preparations for Assembly elections.
A Rs 6,000-crore propylene derivatives petrochemical project at BPCL's Kochi refinery with a production capacity of five lakh metric tons per annum, new cruise terminal at Cochin port that could handle up to 5,000 cruise ship passengers at a time, Rs 20 crore project of reconstructing coal berth of the port and knowledge and skill development centre of Cochin Shipyard are the projects to be inaugurated by Modi during his one day visit.
Afterwards, he would have meetings with BJP senior leaders.
