Altogether 191 miners were inside the mines when the incident occurred at Jeetpur colliery, around 35 kms away from here, last evening, they said. "It was a minor problem. The gas leakage has been sealed timely and miners are safe now," K L S Rao, general manager of the colliery, a subsidiary unit of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), said.
Rao, along with officials and rescue team, entered the mines and sealed the leakage. A probe is on in the incident.
