In the 1951 elections, not a single vote was cast at Nurpur (West Bengal), Intali (Rajasthan), Juni-Chhapri (Saurashtra) and Kitchener Koad (Delhi) polling stations.

It was a one man show in Madras’s Venkataramanujapuram polling station: out of the 1,476 voters, only one person cast the vote.

In contrast to this poor turnout, 1,361 out of the 1,366 voters in Sitala M E School polling station in West Bengal exercised their franchise.
