Ballot papers for the 1957 polls were printed and supplied by the Security Press, Nasik Road.

Even though there was an increase of over 11% in the electorate, the total number of ballot papers supplied were 57.93 crore as compared to the 60 crore ballot papers printed for the first general elections.

97 tonne of paper was used for printing the ballot papers.
