The arrests were made after villagers tipped off the CID, investigating the killing of Kishenji, that quack Bhudeb Mahato treated Suchitra who was brought to him on a bicycle by the youth Tarachand Tudu of Benasuli village, police said.
The two were taken to Jamboni police station for interrogation.
The combined forces, meanwhile, continued search in Burisole forest for Suchitra who was suspected to have fled to Jharkhand, the border of which was barely three km away.
A CID team also inspected the spot at Burisole forest the site of the encounter where Kishenji was killed by the joint forces.
