Sukesh Chandrashekar, a man jailed on multiple charges of fraud, who has been in the news time and again for letters he has written to many famous people, in the news again after he wrote a letter to American billionaire Elon Musk.
According to a report by India Today, in his letter, Sukesh, lodged in Delhi's Mandoli jail, promised to invest $2 billion in total in the social media platform X.
"I am taking this privilege and pride today to say, Hey Elon, I am ready and want to invest '1 Billion USD' immediately and another '1 Billion USD' next year in your Company X, making a total of '2 Billion USD' as investment," he wrote in the letter, according to India Today.
"The investment of the above-mentioned amount is not under any valuation of X, but it's an investment on what remarkable turn of fortune the company is going to achieve under your leadership, so the Bet is always on you, and surely know 'X' value is going to raise to unexpectable heights," he wrote.
"Elon, I am sure you will agree on this with me that, honestly for me now money, success is too Boring, it's too easy, but failure, that's a secret, raising up stronger from ashes of failure, is something, it gives you the best high, that's the most interesting thing for me," the letter further quoted, according to India Today.
"As you know, I am currently in Judicial Custody as an undertrial, for an alleged financial offence, which is lesser than my shopping Budget for a year. However, all the cases, allegations against me are yet to be proved, I have never been convicted ever, all are baseless charges with no credible evidence," he claimed.
"This will also set an example to all the amazing youth of my great country, that dream big, and remember no dream is big enough to not be able to achieve, and no one can stop you no matter what," the letter ended.
This isn't the first letter that Sukesh has written to a high-profile personality. He has previously written letters to Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Specifically, he has focussed his attention on Jacqueline Fernandes, writing many love letters, with one stating, "Our love story nothing less than Ramayan."
