A bench of Justices D K Jain and H L Dattu gave the CBSE the nod to conduct the examinations held across various centres in the country by declining to interfere with the Delhi High Court’s order on May 2.
The High Court had refused to grant a stay on the test on the petition alleging violation of fundamental rights of some candidates who could not appear on May 1 due to its rescheduling in view of reports of paper leakage and clash of timing with Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) entrance test.
The question papers were allegedly sold for Rs 6 lakh in open market. Uttar Pradesh Police has so far arrested one person in the case.
