Amid rift in Rajasthan Government, Congress MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma on June 15 stated that the senior-most leaders must be given due respect in the party.

He said, “Nothing is going to happen for the next two months because Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is not meeting people in person. We should first, prepare to fight with third wave of Covid-19. The political feud will calm down gradually. I also wanted to become Chief Minister but sometimes we have to suppress our desires. I am with Congress party, Sachin Pilot and CM Ashok Gehlot are my leaders.”

He further said, “Pilot Sahab never demanded any post for himself. He has clarified that he will not join BJP. I believe some junior leaders have occupied some big posts, which is going to hurt the party. Senior-most leaders must be given due respect.”
