A day after he was reported to have compared Narendra Modi with Indira Gandhi and remarked that he will bite the dust during next polls, disgruntled senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha denied he had made any references to NDA Prime Minister in his comments in Goa. His remarks, he claimed on Sunday, were “completely misunderstood” and “misinterpreted”.

But, voices have started emerging from the BJP for taking action against disgruntled leaders Yashwant Singh and Shatrughan Singha for their frequent barbs against the Modi government.

Ravindra Kushwaha, who is BJP MP from Salempur of eastern Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday demanded immediate expulsion of both the “frustrated” Sinhas for allegedly making baseless statements against the government and the party after they failed to get ministerial berths. Singling out Yashwant Sinha, Kushwaha said he was “not satisfied” despite the fact that his son Jayant Sinha was minister of state in the ministry of finance.
