Six people, including women, were injured in a stampede at the 'Janata Darbar' of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Sunday.

According to the police sources, all the injured were admitted to the hospital.

Sources said that a large crowd had gathered at the Temple, where Adityanath was holding the 'janata darbar'. People jostled with each other in a bid to hand over their applications to the chief minister.

There was a stampede when some people tried to jump the queue. Around six people, including women, were injured in the stampede.
