The incident took place around 1 a.m. Friday when Sunil Bhadauriya was returning home after attending a religious function.
“He was entering the main gate of his house when four motorcycle-borne young men came and one of them fired at him," a friend and eyewitness Yogesh told police.
Sunil was a student of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University here. Police suspect involvement of some students in the murder.
“We have got some names and probably the incident is an outcome of some on-campus dispute between two groups of students," Deputy Inspector General of Police (Agra) Brij Bhushan said.
