In what appears to be a comedy of errors, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) in Bihar has released a merit list of candidates selected for the post of junior engineers (JE), which has Sunny Leone as its topper.
The list was released here on Wednesday after the examination for the 214 vacant posts of JE (civil) was conducted in January 2019. The list shows 28-year-old Sunny Leone (DoB: 1991, as mentioned in the application) to be daughter of one Leona Leone and her application number is JEC/0031211. She has scored 98.5 points. Her score in the examination was 73.5 (out of 75), besides 25 points in terms of experience.
“Applications for the posts of JE were sought online. The department will verify whether the topper is genuine or someone has played a prank. We will trace the mischief-maker, if any, and book the guilty,” said Bihar’s PHED Minister Vinod Narayan Jha.
The minister’s apprehension could be true as the third topper is ‘bvcxzbnnb’ with 92.89 points.
Later in the evening, the department clarified that the list was a ‘draft list’ and the candidates could raise their objections till February 24. The final list will be released after February 24.
