Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy released what he claimed as fresh document on the mystery surrounding Subhas Chandra Bose’s death, at an event here on Saturday.

The document contains former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s stenographer, Shyam Lal Jain’s deposition before the Khosla Commission, formed in 1970 to probe Bose’s death. IN his submission, Jain had revealed that Nehru had asked for a letter to be written to the then British Prime Minister, Clement Attlee, informing him about Bose’s entry into Russia, which  he described as an act of “betrayal” for the triple alliance between Britain, USA and Russia during World War II.

The authenticity of the document, however, cannot be independently verified.
