Appearing in person before a bench of Justices G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly, he said after Raja’s resignation as telecom minister, his petition seeking the court’s directions for grant of sanction under the Prevention of Corruption Act to proceed against Raja has lost its relevance.
“I am in a trishanku like situation, since he (Raja) has resigned as minister and is a MP,” he said, adding that he will go to the criminal court and file a case against him. However, he wanted a speaking order from the apex court which would answer such issues when the prime minister does not accord sanction for prosecution of one of his ministers, who is involved in corruption.
